About Us

The Twin Rivers Taekwondo Club started in 1998 here in Columbus, NE.  We continue to practice the traditional ways after our Korean GrandMaster, In Mook Kim, 9th Degree Black Belt.  The true spirit of Taekwondo is rooted in respecting the Korean culture, traditions, and philosophy.  Our schools will instruct students to properly learn the way of the hand and foot.  To use Taekwondo only as a means of protection of oneself and family. We want students to embrace the mental, physical, and spiritual attributes of our classes and implement these skills into their everyday lives to create a harmony of the mind, body, and spirit.  Students will be challenged to learn the life of a martial artist, but also to be inspired to help our fellow human beings.
