5 Tenets
Courtesy: being respectful to oneself & others
(example: helping others, opening a door for someone)
Integrity: being honest and just
(example: telling your parents the truth when you did something wrong)
Perseverance: not giving up and sticking with it
(example: when you keep practicing a sport even though it's hard)
Self Control: keeping emotions and actions in check
(example: when someone hits you in class, you don't get angry and strike back)
Indomitable Spirit: having a positive attitude
(example: practicing a new move even if you can't do it yet - don't say "I can't")
Class Rules
1. Taekwondo training requires high mental and physical standards.
2. We must be respectful, courteous, and just at all times.
3. We must observe class rules and develop strong unity through mutual aid.

Little Dragons Form
The Little Dragons form has three parts. The students are taught to block first because just like in Taekwondo we don't start fights. Students need to memorize all three parts.

Part 1: Right hand - Up, Down, Back, Out, Touch, Push (Yell)
Part 2: Left hand - Up, Down, Back, Out, Touch, Push (Yell)
Part 3: Both hands - Cross and Up, Cross and Down, Back, Out, Touch and Cross, Push (Yell)

If you want to be good, practice. If you want to be great, practice, practice, practice!
Board Breaks
Materials:

Males ages 15 and up: two #2 pine boards approx. 1"x12"x11"

Males ages 13-14 and Females ages 15 and up: two #2 pine boards approx. 1"x12"x8"

Children ages 10-12 and Females ages 13-14: one #2 pine board approx 1"x12"x8"
-
Children ages 6-9: one #2 pine board approx 1"x12"x7"
Exceptions
-
Children ages 6-7 who are not able to break their boards, their young age will be taken into consideration for their testing.

Women who are underweight may be taken into consideration to break two #2 pine boards approx 1"x12"x7"​
Techniques:
All brown belts are required to break using one of the nine following techniques (one hand & one foot)

Palkup and Yop-chagi (Elbow & Side Kick)

*Children 10 years old and younger may break their boards with 2 kicking techniques

All targets should be at face level when using the Dollyo-chagi technique.
